Tel Aviv's Dr. Shakshuka

In Tel Aviv Yafo, very near the Pishpeshim (flea market) is Dr. Shakshuka, said to be one of the Top Ten Restaurants in Tel Aviv. Foods served are mostly that of Tripoli and Morocco – and their specialty is the Shakshka, which is a pot of peppers, eggs and tomatoes, together with bread.

Indeed, you might want to try out Dr. Shakshuka after spending some shopping time at the Flea Market or a tiring walk around the promenade by the Jaffa Beach. You may choose to eat inside the restaurant, or perhaps enjoy some open air dining beside the establishment.

The restaurant is very popular, simply because of its great food as well as prompt service. If you are looking for Kosher, food of this type is also served here. A little pricey, but hey, you might some on-the-house treats such as drinks or cakes.
