Hello Ernest,

I am Pam Galisim, a fellow "kababayan" :)

I came across your blog and I can't help referring to it enough. I guess there's no better point of view to refer to than that of your fellow countryman when you want to be a bit close to seeking what it would be like to live on another land. I gather from your blog that you are working at our embassy there in Tel-aviv and I guess its "virtual kinship" of some sort that lead me to writing you.

My Israeli invited me to try to live in Israel in 2009 and I am trying to weigh my chances of working in our embassy there in Tel-Aviv. May I ask how I should go about doing this?

I am 28 years old and have been working for a multinational food company here in Manila the past three years now doing communications and planning work. I told myself that my corporate experience should only be a stepping stone towards doing something big and good especially for our country. Having been with my boyfriend and meeting his family and friends have given me a lot of insight on Israel, its people and the condition of our countrymen there. I am aware of the fact that our embassy have been doing a lot of great work already and I would be more than glad to contribute to helping our "kababayans" in the promise land.

I do hope to hear from you soon.

Salamat at Mabuhay!!

Pam
